Disposal
As the LIGHTstern campers don’t have a shower or chemical toilet, you don’t need to pay much attention to disposal. (See also our notes on the subject of “Etiquette”).
Garbage
Almost all campsites offer waste disposal facilities. You can dispose of your separated waste there.
Waste water
In the Polaris, the waste water tank is located directly next to the fresh water under the sink. Always empty it when you fill up with fresh water. This prevents unpleasant odors from building up and there is no risk of the “slop” leaking out and causing expensive water damage.
To do this, drive the camper to a disposal station, open the stopcock and allow the gray water to run off in a controlled manner. Alternatively, you can also pour it into the canister provided and dispose of it in a public toilet, for example.
