Awning
The LIGHTstern campers are equipped with a tarp (awning) for the side of the vehicle.
The LIGHTstern Polaris has rails on both sides into which you can thread the awning safely and conveniently.
The awning primarily serves as sun protection, but can also withstand a few drops of rain so that you can sit comfortably on your “porch” in front of the camper. However, please make sure that you only pack the awning when it is dry so that it does not start to get moldy.
In strong winds and/or rain, and especially if you leave the vehicle alone, you should definitely pack the awning. In the event of an unexpected storm, both the awning and the vehicle could otherwise be damaged.
