Overnight stay

With access to the drive battery, your LIGHTstern camper can easily stand on its own. (At least as long as the water lasts.) However, since the number of campers and vanlifers has risen sharply in recent years, the problems are unfortunately increasing.

Many countries, districts and regions have therefore tightened their laws or are about to do so. (See also the topic “Etiquette“.) This is a pity, because the freedom of all is restricted by the inconsiderate behavior of a few.

We therefore recommend that you spend the night in officially approved locations wherever possible . These are primarily campsites and motorhome pitches. However, there are also an increasing number of private sites, some with more, some with less infrastructure, but often in picturesque locations where you can stay with a clear conscience for a small fee.

Please comply with local laws. In this way, you help to keep the Vanlife adventure going for everyone.
