Etiquette

Unfortunately, the increasing popularity of camper vans also brings with it unpleasant developments. These have already led to entire countries, regions or municipalities having to drastically restrict the previously considerable freedom of campers.

To stop this development if possible, we would like to recommend a few camping etiquette tips.

  • Behave in a considerate and rather “low key” manner.
  • Do not make yourself at home outside an official campsite or pitch. So don’t put any furniture in front of the camper, don’t put up the awning. Think of “wild camping” as parking rather than camping.
  • Take at least as much garbage with you as you brought there.
  • Always try to find a public toilet. Nobody wants the most beautiful places to look like a highway parking lot!
  • Only dispose of waste water at the facilities provided for this purpose. In an absolute emergency, find a very remote waste water gully where you won’t disturb anyone. Under no circumstances should you dump your gray water into nature!
