Why online?

There is a lot that needs to be explained about a custom electric camper van. And you shouldn’t spend your time on your trip wondering how things work in the camper. That’s why we explain everything to you in detail.

However, on the day the vehicle is handed over, you probably already have your head full of travel plans and would like to set off straight away.

Your advantages

That’s why we’ve summarized everything you need to know in a 90-minute tutorial. This means you can familiarize yourself with your LIGHTstern camper from the comfort of your own home before you start your journey.

When we hand over the vehicle, we will then limit ourselves to the formalities and any unanswered questions.* Last but not least, you will benefit from a lower price for the service fee.

* By signing the handover protocol, you confirm that you have completed the LIGHTstern Academy in full and that no questions remain unanswered.

Important additional information

  • Wooden dowels in the sofa: When adjusting the sofa, make sure to lift the front part first and pull the dowels out of the holes. If you pull directly on the red strap, the bench can be damaged!
  • All drawers are secured against slipping out during the journey by standing behind a small wooden rail. To open a drawer, first lift the box slightly and then pull it out towards you.

  • The kitchen drawer with the pots and pans can be opened in both directions (inwards and outwards). That is why it has no end stop. Please take care never to pull the drawer out completely from the outside. Otherwise it will fall on your feet!
  • Please remember to always empty the gray water tank at the same time as you refill with fresh water. This will prevent unpleasant odors and expensive water damage caused by leaking waste water.
  • Please hold the stopcock of the gray water tank with your other hand when opening it so that there is not too much leverage on the screw connection to the tank.

  • To switch on the roof ventilator, touch the on switch with your finger for about two seconds. (It switches off immediately though …)
  • The first-aid kit, warning triangle and high-visibility vests are located in the compartment above the driver’s head. The shovel and dustpan, the ventilation grille for the side window and the water equipment can be found under the middle seat in the cab.

  • You don’t need to bring bed linen.
Thanks to the clever reversible covers, you get freshly washed upholstery covers for your trip.
